For the Love of Reading has a fabulous review of the Samhain anthology. And I’m happy to report that the three short stories she singled out were my edits!

Professional Writing

Professionalism counts when words are representing your product, service and/or company, and by extension, yourself.

I have more than 15 years on-the-job marketing and advertising experience, two decades of writing published materials and a Bachelor’s degree in English from one of the top universities in the United States.

What does this mean for you?

My professional background has included

developing marketing materials for business-to-business and business-to-public,
completing volunteer work for nonprofits in newsletter layouts and content,
working with authors and publishers to get drafts pre-edited and edited for publication, and
working for periodicals and newspapers, I’ve published hundreds of advertorial, human interest and hard-fact journalistic pieces throughout the years.

Put together, this requires that I have a firm understanding of target demographics, marketing psychology and a strong grasp of how words work to grab and retain the attention of existing clients, potential clients and the general public.

Being a graduate from an intensive program at a top university means that I know how to research, be clear in my communication and accurate in everything I write and edit, from essays and short content and books to journalism and advertorial.

Any published product representing you and/or your company should be as professional and hardworking as you are.
